Finding God in Eden

On Friday 5th Sept 2025 the Jesuit Insititute is hosting a day retreat outdoors for adults over 18.

We will be walking part of the Ullswater loop starting at St Peter's Church in Askham (6-7 miles). The Rev Stephen Tudway has welcomed us to gather at the church as our starting point so that we set out from a Christian place of worship. Rev David Sargent has been most helpful in seeking support from the rural churches in the places we had in mind.

This is offered to people of any Christian denomination and those who are seeking and curious. It combines our life of faith and care of our mental and physical well being. We think this might be a helpful combination for people.

The plan is to do more of these days next year from April to September. It will be a peaceful, prayerful day with some sharing with others along the way.
