Fri 6 Mar ~ World Day of Prayer

The World Day of Prayer worship service has a special annual theme which is developed by women of a different country each year. A national committee then prepares an order of service on that theme. This year’s theme was developed by WDP Nigeria talking about women’s experiences of the burdens of poverty and despair, religious persecution and systemic oppression.

Services hosted in our Parish: 2.30pm in St. Wulstan’s, Alston and 3pm in St. Catherine’s, Penrith. All welcome.
