News from St Catherine’s School
This week, our Reception and Key Stage 1 children took part in a lovely May Procession to honour Mary. The children walked together to the garden behind the church, bringing flowers to place by the statue of Our Lady. The beautiful flowers had been made by Class 4, and they helped to make the garden look very special.
Once there, the children placed the flowers carefully and spent some time praying and singing together. It was a calm and meaningful moment for everyone. It was also wonderful to have so many parents join us sharing this special time with us. We are very proud of the children for showing such respect and care during the procession.
